Orthodontic Phasing
Orthodontic planning can begin as soon as your child loses his or her baby teeth. Dr. Soto will examine your child’s mouth and take X-rays to see if permanent teeth are growing in at the right position. If not, space maintainers are used to regulate the space between teeth and help them grow into position accurately, which can help avoid extensive orthodontic work later on. Regular dental check-ups and non-metal fillings can help keep teeth strong and prepared for braces in the future.
